Surulere

Overview

Surulere is one of Lagos's oldest and most established residential areas. Known for its sporting culture (the National Stadium and Teslim Balogun Stadium are located here), Surulere offers a mix of older family homes and newer apartment blocks. The area is centrally located, providing easy access to both the Mainland and the Island via the Third Mainland Bridge. Surulere is home to a diverse community, good schools, hospitals, and markets. It offers relatively affordable housing compared to the Island and Lekki, making it popular with middle-class families.
