If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including property seekers, agents, landlords, sellers, and visitors.

2. Use of the Platform

Permitted Uses

You may use NaijaProp to:

• Browse and search property listings.
• Contact property agents and landlords through the platform.
• List properties for sale or rent (as a verified agent or owner).
• Access guides, market insights, and tools such as the mortgage calculator.
• Save favourite properties and set up alerts.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Harvest or collect user data without authorisation.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its servers.
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Nigerian law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

3. Property Listings & Accuracy

NaijaProp strives to ensure that property listings are accurate and up to date. However, the information displayed is primarily provided by property agents, landlords, and third-party sellers.

• Agent Responsibility: Agents and property owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
• Our Verification: NaijaProp verifies listings to the best of our ability through document checks, image analysis, and where possible, physical inspections. Verified listings are marked with a blue checkmark.
• No Guarantee: While we make every effort to ensure listing quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of any listing. We encourage users to conduct independent verification before making any decisions.

4. Disclaimer

NaijaProp is a platform that facilitates connections between property seekers and agents, landlords, and sellers. We are not a real estate agency, and we do not buy, sell, or lease properties directly.

• We are not responsible for the outcome of any property transaction, including but not limited to disputes, financial losses, or unsatisfactory property conditions.
• All property transactions are conducted at the user's own risk. We strongly recommend conducting independent due diligence, including physical inspections, legal verification of title documents, and consultation with qualified professionals.
• The opinions, guides, and market insights published on the platform are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional financial or legal advice.

5. User Accounts

Certain features on NaijaProp require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and current information during registration and keep your details up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that contain false information or violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, text, graphics, and software on the NaijaProp platform are the property of NaijaProp or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NaijaProp, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for access to the Platform during the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

9. Changes to These Terms

NaijaProp reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of the platform after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
